The Ride is on! Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Five Boro is just over. The atmosphere was great, over 30,000 participants from all over the world, colours, fun, sport, and passion for cycling all in one. Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia participants started at the front with the official Made in Italy jersey, preceded by the 2 Italian Miss and the Giro trophy.

Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia is at Bike Expo New York with its unmistakable Italian touch. Italian Miss, Duomo Background, the endless Giro trophy, and last but not least the 2-time World Champion Gianni Bugno.

What a better occasion to take memorable pictures with the Giro iconic symbols and to experience the Giro atmosphere? All this while the Giro d’Italia itself is going on in Italy at the same time!

The Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

To date, The Affiliate has raised over $9.2 million for community-based grants to local LA County health organizations. Seventy-five percent of the Affiliate’s net income funds grants to local hospitals and community health organizations serving the uninsured and underinsured women in Los Angeles County. The remaining 25 percent supports Susan G. Komen’s national grants program which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research and education initiatives around the world.

Thanks to its many dedicated donors, corporate partners and volunteers, Komen LA County is playing a vital role in fighting breast cancer in the community.

Gianni Bugno, Maglia Rosa in 1990 and two times world champion in 1991 and 1992 will be at the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia stands within the Bike Expo NY. Before riding with Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia particpants, Bugno will be at our stands and you will have the opportunity to get your jersey signed by this great athlete, discuss cycling with him and take memorable pictures, also with the Milan Duomo background and the Giro d’Italia iconic trophy.
